Using the history to present design options

Each time you complete a lighting calculation in LightStanza, the history is saved enabling a clear and traceable design path. One of the less obvious benefits of this is the ability to use the feature to present different design alternatives. Easily present different lighting layouts using the history feature using the methodology described below.

History Overview

  • Light Stanza's Activity and Reporting panel retains complete history of project calculations, facilitating design comparisons across different options.
  • This enables you to replace existing fixtures to test new types, with new calculations generated as separate entries in the Activity and Reporting panel.
  • Quick visual comparisons are enabled via images on calculation cards, complemented by a detailed 'Compare Activities' feature for analyzing illuminance averages and uniformity ratios.
  • Users can revert to previous design results through the 'Set Model state' feature to refine their work based on historical data.
  • The iterative design process allows for enhancements, such as adding fixture rows to boost illuminance averages and evaluating results through grid analysis.
  • Recent design updates demonstrated higher illuminance averages and improved uniformity ratios, reflecting successful iterations toward design goals.
